Unexpected Engagement Ring Trends at JCK 2026

Before heading to JCK Las Vegas, we put together our engagement ring and wedding band trend forecast for 2026, and thankfully, all our predictions held up. But after spending days walking the show floor, we found a few things that were even bigger than we expected.
One of the biggest surprise? Taylor Swift's inspired engagement rings were everywhere. At this point, it doesn't feel like a trend. It feels like a movement. We saw romantic, intricately engraved bands , from established bridal brands to independent designers. While vintage-inspired engagement rings have been gaining popularity for years, this latest wave feels different. Many in the industry point to Taylor Swift's engagement ring as the catalyst, and after seeing just how much engraving showed up at JCK, it's hard to ignore the influence.
We also discovered that marquise engagement rings are not going anywhere. If anything, the shape continues to gain momentum so we also have to give Selena Gomez her dues.
Two-tone engagement ring settings were everywhere, and pre-set lab-grown engagement rings featuring center stones of 2 carats and up dominated showcases in the bridal pavilion on the main JCK show in every shape imaginable, including antique-inspired cuts.

Another thing we couldn't stop noticing was ring stacking taken to the next level, with bands and rings layered across multiple fingers on both hands.

And one bonus trend worth talking about: men's wedding bands. The category is exploding with unique designs, customization options, and creative materials.
Watch to see the engagement ring and wedding band trends that surprised us most
